Happy Howl-oween!

Happy Halloween!  How was yours?  What did you do?  Eat candy?  Get egged?  Go to haunted houses?

This weekend we had a fabulous time with our friends carving pumpkins, eating roasted pumpkin seeds, dressing their darling baby up like a cow and putting her in a pumpkin (her Dad wasn't too pleased with either of these activities), etc.

We usually have a bit more impressive costumes, but matching outfits was the extent of our creativity this year:

We're also pumpkin carving professionals:

Annnndddddd here's what my pumpkin looked like before and after JMan got done "transporting" it:

Whoops.

And finally, it wouldn't be Halloween without some costumes for the pup:

Cooper says: "Happy Howl-oween".

Cooper doesn't look excited about the rooster costume. Haha. I love dressing Tia & Maisy up for Halloween. They probably hate me for it. :-)
Didn't do anything for Halloween this year- no pumpkins, no decorations, no parties, no dressing up. Last night I handed out candy until it was time for my class (torture) at Farmgirlfit and then candy duty got handed over to my husband.

Cooper does not look happy, I’d say that if dogs could look humiliated… well… there it is.
We had fun, the kids went trick or treating, while my wife and I set up our projector, and showed “Nightmare Before Christmas” on the garage door, Then since it was getting a little cold, I moved this big terracotta pot we use for backyard campfires up to the driveway, and we had a little fire to sit around while we passed out candy.
It was a very fun night.

WOW!! That sounds AWESOME! You guys must be the most popular house in the neighborhood!
Holy cow! I loved that ghost pumpkin!! Carving pumpkins has only really taken off here in the last couple of years so I've never had a go at it. Cooper looks extra cute in his costumes :)
