The Best Day of the Year

Is Today!

Seriously.  I LOVE Daylight Savings Time.  I think it should be a national holiday.  Yeah yeah yeah, we lose an hour of sleep on this one, but it's TOTALLY worth it.  I wish we never "fell backwards".  I LOVE having daylight in the evenings.

SUMMER HERE I COME!

Thoughts about Daylight Savings?  If you're a morning runner you probably hate it?  If you're an evening runner like me you probably LOVE IT?!  Are you tired today?

I hate losing the hour but I love having it light later. It should never "fall back". I will be tired in the morning!

Today sucked! Went to bed at midnight (too late, my own fault) and had plans to meet for long run @ 6 am, which meant only 5 hrs of sleep instead of 6. That is one hour that breaks me! I'll get used to it, boo hoo!

Came across your blog on SR's post.

I prefer running in the morning, but I have to do some of my runs in the evening, and it has been just so depressing heading out at 6 and it already being completely dark! So, I am definitely happy about daylight savings!

I don't mind it all that much. I agree with you that having more light in the late afternoon/evening is totes worth it. Especially up here in the dark land. ;-)

Totally agree with you, DST is great! And yes, I might have taken a nap immediately following breakfast, but knowing that more daylight exists in the near future infuses happiness into me. I'm a morning runner, but I'll deal with the darkness for a little while in favor of longer hours later on.
