Blogger Screwed Me (A February Recap Story)

I had a beautiful little February recap post all ready for you and scheduled and everything.  Then Blogger decided to somehow make it show the identical post of "A Very Beachey Weekend".  What the heck?  WHY BLOGGER WHY?  Has this ever happened to you?  It's my very first experience losing a fully written post and I'm none too pleased.

Anyway, I talked about February.  And now I'm grouchy and don't want to write it all again.  So here's the cliff notes version.
  • In February I ran 89 miles.  In January I ran 95 miles (remember?), pretty freaking consistent given February had 1 less running day than January, and I generally run 6 miles on any given running day (89 + 6 = 95, in case you needed some math help, you're welcome).
  • I talked about running my first race of 2012: the Disney Princess Half Marathon (which I'm sure you're well aware of and sick of since it's pretty much all I've talked about since I started this blog).

You're not tired of these pictures yet are you?
  • I also talked eloquently about books.  In January I read 6 books but in February I only read 3 books, including the 2nd and 3rd books in the Mazerunner series: Scorch Trials and The Death Cure.  I also read The Girl Who Chased the Moon for book club.  Amazon summarized the book like this: "In her latest enchanting novel, New York Times bestselling author Sarah Addison Allen invites you to a quirky little Southern town with more magic than a full Carolina moon. Here two very different women discover how to find their place in the world—no matter how out of place they feel."  The book was good, nothing amazing, but interesting and passed the time.  It reminded me of The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake, in that both these books are subtle-y weird; they don't go all the way out with a fantasy world but strange things happen.  Plus they're both heavily about baking.

The End.  Blogger I hate you right now.

How'd you do on your February goals?  Anyone else ever lose a post?  Did you throw things?
